The pleasure of give and take
”The act of giving and taking should be considered a natural exchange, something that just happens” |

Give and take is never a “one side act”. We all have something to offer and we all wish to receive those things not yet achieved or reached in our lives.
This truth involves all human beings. The difference is that human necessity is multifacetic and it is not always perceived by those attracted by the materialistic aspect of the reality.
Reciprocity conveys pleasure to human relations whether we know the person who needs what we can offer or not, or whether we know who owns what we need in order to develop ourselves.
It is necessary to learn how to recognize our strengths and weaknesses, our resources and necessities, in order to improve the interactive solidarity with other people in the world.
The act of giving fills us with joy, connects us with love; it goes further than the mere fact of who we are or what we possess, thus enhancing this act with a superior value.
Happiness is also felt by the person who knows how to receive or take, the one who sets self sufficiency aside and allows himself to enjoy the protection and love of those who give him what he needs and or what he lacks.
Both acts of love, giving and taking, help to achieve the unity among human beings in a deeper and longer lasting way.
